Snug is sold in real band and cup sizes — band 30 to 48, cups A through H. A 34G here is an actual 34G, not a letter borrowed from a t-shirt tag. Two numbers and five minutes with a tape measure is all it takes.
How to measure — three steps
- Band. Wearing an unpadded bra or nothing on top, run the tape around your ribcage directly under the bust. Pull it snug and level, breathe out, and read the number in inches. Round up to the nearest even number — that is your band.
- Bust. Stand straight and run the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it level across your back. Do not pull tight. Read the number in inches.
- Cup. Subtract the band from the bust. 1" = A · 2" = B · 3" = C · 4" = D · 5" = DD/E · 6" = DDD/F · 7" = G · 8" = H.
Example: 36" under the bust and 43" across the bust is a 7" difference — a 36G.

Choose your true band
The fabric is 91% nylon and 9% spandex — it is smooth and it moves with you, but it has little stretch by design, because the stretch is what makes a wireless band ride up. Take the band your tape measure gives you. Do not size the band down to get a tighter fit, and do not size it up because a stretchy bra fitted you that way.
Between two bands?
Take the smaller band and go up one cup — 36F and 34G hold the same volume. The band should sit level all the way round and you should be able to slide two flat fingers under it at the back, no more.
Sister sizes
Going up one band means going down one cup, and the other way round. 34G ≈ 36F ≈ 32H all carry about the same cup volume — handy if your usual size is sold out, or if your band feels right but the cup does not.

On the cups. The maker’s own size note says the cups run small. We are going to be straight with you: buyers do not all agree. Some say the note is right; others say the stretch in the fabric makes the cup roomier than the letter suggests. We have not settled it ourselves yet, so we are not going to push you one way and have you pay for it.
So: measure. Snug around your ribs just under the bust for your band, then around the fullest part for your cup — the difference in inches is your cup letter. The Size & Fit Guide has the full table. Order what the table says. If it is off, tell us and we send the next one out free.
One thing we will say: do not go up a band to chase cup room. A looser band gives up the lift, and the lift is the whole point.

Is the wire going to dig into me? — Almost every wire that hurts is a wire in the wrong size: a band that is too big rides up onto tissue, a cup that is too small parks the wire on top of the breast instead of behind it. Ours is soft enough to bend between two fingers and it is sealed inside a double layer of fabric, so nothing rigid ever touches your skin. Get the band and the cup right and you should barely register it. If you do feel it, that is a size problem and we will swap it.
I have not worn a wire in years. Should I even try one? — That is most of the people buying this. The reason to come back is what a wire does that stretch fabric cannot: it puts the lift at the root of the breast, where the weight actually is. Start with the Size & Fit Guide, order one, wear it for a day. If it is not for you, send it back within 60 days.
Is there any padding in it? — None. The cups are unlined, and that is the point — nothing is added to your shape, nothing is flattened. It also means a very thin, very pale top will show more than a foam cup would. That is the trade, and we would rather you knew now.
What size do I order? — Measure, then order what the Size & Fit Guide table says. The maker’s size note says the cups run small; some buyers agree and some say the stretch makes them roomy, and we are not going to pretend we have settled that for you. What we can do is make the first guess cheap: exchanges are free for 60 days, both ways.
Will it show under a t-shirt? — The outer face is seamless and the cup edge is thin, so there is no ridge and no seam line under a fitted top. It sits low and the straps are set wide, which is why it also works under a square neck or a low-cut top.
Can I wash it in the machine? — No. Hand wash, cool water, dry in the shade. It takes two minutes and it is the only care instruction we have.
How is this different from Snug’s other bra? — Because they are not fixing the same thing. Take the wire out and the cup has to hold your shape with fabric alone: comfortable, but it keeps you roughly where you already are. A wire does one thing fabric cannot — it sits at the root of the breast and takes the weight from underneath, which is what moves volume back to the top. If your complaint is a bra that hurts by three in the afternoon, the other one is the answer. If your complaint is that the top of you looks empty, this one is. And the wire itself is not the villain it gets made out to be: a wire that hurts is nearly always a wire in the wrong size.

Best bra!
Ok, I debating ordering this bra for months, but it is the best bra I have had in a long time! I am 18 months postpartum with my second, still breastfeeding and have had a heck of a time finding a bra that gives me support while still being comfortable.This is the most comfortable underwire bra I have ever worn and it stretches so much that I can still breastfeed while wearing it! It give just the right amount of support and also has a minimizing effect. I feel like I’m not wearing a bra but my girls aren’t hanging loose. I can wear it with a fitted shirt and it doesn’t show lumps or bulges and it gives my (low hanging) boobs a lovely shape! Definitely recommend!

Size Chart Suggested 38A, But 38B Was Perfect
I’m extremely happy with this bra. The fit is smooth, comfortable, and very flattering. I usually struggle with bras that create bulging along my back or show through fitted tops, but this one lays completely smooth and disappears under T-shirts. For sizing reference, my underbust measurement is 34” and my full bust measurement is 38”. The size guide recommended a 38A, but after reading that this style runs small, I chose a 38B because I wanted a little more coverage and less cleavage. That ended up being the perfect choice for me. The cups fit beautifully without gaping or spilling, and the shape looks natural. The band stays comfortable and smooth without creating back bulge, which was one of my biggest concerns. Looking at the fit, I think the 38A would have given me a more compressed look and possibly pushed more tissue toward the sides. The fabric feels soft, the straps are comfortable, and the bra stays invisible under clothing. If you’re between sizes or trying to decide based on the size chart, my experience was that sizing up one cup from the recommendation gave me a better fit and a more natural silhouette. If you’re looking for an everyday bra that is comfortable, supportive, seamless under T-shirts, and flattering from every angle, I highly recommend it.

Runs small, but my new favorite bra!
I don't know why it's always been so hard to find unlined bras in general, and especially unlined bras that are not see-through or textured (in my experience, almost all unlined bras are either lace or mesh, which often are not great options if you are wearing something light colored or if you don't want the lacy texture showing through). This bra uses very soft, yet supportive material, giving me the sling-like supportive feeling that I like to have for my larger breasts. One thing to note: I took my measurements and the size chart said I was a 34C, which didn't seem right to me. I used Wacoal's size chart with my same numbers and it said 34D. I ended up going with 34D, and I'm glad I did! It fits pretty well (it's still a smidge small, I'm slightly spilling over the top seam, but I'm imagining it will stretch a bit with wear). Same thing happened with another bra purchased here in the same order, so I think their chart just might be off. But otherwise, this is the exact bra I've been dreaming of! The balconette style also looks way sexier to me than the full coverage bras that are typically the style for larger breasts, so I appreciate having this option! I will honestly probably start swapping all my bras out for this brand, I am really impressed (especially for the price point and the fact that they were delivered less than 2 days after I ordered).

Love the underwire balconette!
First off, the underwire balconette bra has zero lining. I realize the description says “unlined” but the pictures look like it’s thick, it’s not. I like it actually, it’s super comfortable but know it’s thinner than it appears in the picture. The white one is see through which is kinda sexy actually. Nice surprise. Secondly, use their size chart. In Victoria Secret (which are rarely comfortable) I’m a 36DD. I measured 38D here. I decided to get both the 36D (too small) & the 38D (perfect). So believe their sizing. The company replied right back regarding my exchange of the 36. Thirdly, it’s soft and nothing in the cups to be itchy. I’m super sensitive to lining, ridges, lace - anything that can be irritating. Nothing here to do that. Excellent, I’m excited to FINALLY find a bra that doesn’t feel like torture.

Perfect bras and customer service outstanding.
I ordered this bra and one other (racerback unlined) after seeing it advertised on a social media site. Took a chance and so glad I did! They are the most comfortable bras I've ever purchased! Incredibly soft! I loved them so much I ordered a second racerback and when it arrived, it was the wrong product. I emailed immediately and within two days I had the correct product at my door and they told me to keep the other bra. It was way too big and a strapless, totally different and it fit my sister perfectly! I think this will be my only bra shop from this point forward. I really appreciated the customer service and rectifying an issue so quickly. Thank you!

So soft!!
This bra is not lined but not see through like mesh. Buttery soft, like unbelievably soft! The fit in the cups are my usual size and fit perfect. The only con I would have is the shoulder straps are really long. But I was able to make it fit so this may be a problem for “ perkier “ breast that won’t need the lift. I wear a 42DD.

One of the most comfortable bras I’ve worn
I really love how comfortable this bra is and just the right size for me. The only feedback I have to say and why it’s not a 5 star for me is that I wish I knew beforehand that the cups wouldn’t be padded. If they were padded so it avoids anything from showing through the bra and tops that are more fitted it would have been a 5 star for me! Otherwise great bra. This is the first underwire bra I’ve worn since high school because all other ones I’ve tried have been so uncomfortable. So that’s a big one for me.

Surprising…in a good way
I’ve shunned underwire bras having found some lovely picks over the years through Knix and La Vie en Rose. I wanted something light, no padding, with the balconnet style and no pinching. Congrats you did it!! And the cocoa colour is divine. All day comfort and it makes my bust look beautiful and clothing sit perfectly. New happy client!

I really like the bra so far! The shape is great and allows me to wear lower cut tops without showing straps. The balconette style and cup shape is flattering. I'm thinking about ordering another in a different color.

Fits comfortably, I got it in the black and brown colour. The price is also affordable as someone with a larger chest bras can get quite expensive. However I am sad that they don’t offer much variety for my size.

Fabric, size, shape.
I was hoping that the fabric would be a little thicker but it fits. The shape is lovely, however I’m disappointed because the cup size is still a little small. (Just barely spilling over) I ordered 36F.

Love the cute styles for us bigger chested ladies. Even the items that weren't local to the States came surprisingly quickly. Good quality items. My only problem is I wish the straps were fully adjustable and not half strap adjustable.

I LOVE my Comfancy Underwire Balconette Bra! I was trying to decided between ordering a size 36C or 36D. I ordered both and found the cups run slightly large due to the nice stretchy material. I would recommend ordering a cup size smaller. You will not be disappointed!

I love this bra. After 5 kids, I have been feeling down about my body. This bra helped me realize it had a lot to do with my bra, actually! It’s amazing what a good lift can do to help clothes fit better. I love it so much, I’m coming back to get another since I’ve got to wash this one some time lol, but don’t want to go a day without!

Love the fabric & fit of this bra. Very soft & comfy while still giving the needed support without padding!! I had to size up for the cups to fit properly. I normally wear a 36 C or D but preferred the 36 DD in this brand. I'm 5'5" & 138 lbs. Colors are great too but the smooth fabric is the best - feels buttery like a stretch cotton

Love them
Love them. I have three so far. I had a lumpectomy five years ago. I used to wear a small prosthesis along the bottom bro line in bras with pockets for post surgery. All those bras are ugly. I love the look of the underwire balconies bra and its simplicity. I figured I would find a way to wear it with the prosthesis, but to my pleasant surprise, because of the underwire, I don’t need it. For first time in 5 years, I’m prosthesis free! And I love the way I look in it. I feel sexy again!

Holy Comfort Batman!
I have never in my life worn a comfortable bra. Sports bras are usually my preferred but even then they can tend to be uncomfortable after a long day. But holy cow, this is a comfortable bra!!! The wires don't dig into my ribs, the cups support my heavy boobs in a natural shape, and the straps don't dig into my shoulders. I have even worn this after I gotten home and do go rushing to rip it off my body. I will definitely be ordering more of these. As for the sizing, I feel like the size is accurate. I guessed at what size to order based on another bra by another brand and it fit as I expected to, so I think generally true to size?

I bought this as I kept seeing it as an ad in tm social media. I received it today and was originally disappointed because I thought thr band and cup was going to be too small. I tried it on anyways. Wow, it is SO comfortable and supportive. It doesnt feel tight despite looking like it would be small. The fabric is so smooth. It holds me comfortably in place. Most comfy bras ever! For large breasts underwire is a must This bra is excellent bc it has a wire in the middle that seperates one from the other. I never seen a bra like this. Its brilliant.

This bra is EVERYTHING
This bra is even better than I could have imagined. It's so comfortable. I don't notice the wire at all and the fabric feels like a second skin. I absolutely love this bra; the way it feels and the way it looks it second to none! As someone with sensitive skin due to allergies, I've experienced redness and inflammation along the band lines in the past-I have none of that with this bra. It's the first time in I can't recall how long, that taking off my bra as soon as I get home isn't the first thing on my mind.

THE REAL REVIEW
So I'm normally the one who writes a "real" review - no paid incentives and no ulterior motive other than to write my experience. I should say that I'm 54, have breast fed 2 children and normally fit into a 36D. I hate normal bras because they don't lift my 'girls' and I feel like the cup should be shaped differently, if only I could pull it here or there and sew it so my lift is better. I often find myself "lifting" my girls up in the cup of my bra throughout the day. Then I saw these bras on Instagram and thought - oh, why not. I ordered DOWN a cup (not up as they suggest) because I was looking for a FULL LIFT and was worried a D or DD wouldn't give it to me. I ordered a 36C and got the lift I've been hoping for. No need to re-adjust, no need to tighten straps just to get them a half inch higher. I just bought two more in different colors and I swear if they're as good as the first one I'll buy it in all the colors lol. If your breasts are heavy like mine and conventional bras aren't cutting it...give these a shot. I hope you will love them as much as I do.

Found an ad on instagram and was influenced. Didn't have high hopes at first, based on previous expieriences on web stores i didn't previously know BUT I was so pleasently surpised. The bra really is fantastic, soft, comfortable and looks really good on. For sure will be placing another order quite soon and upgrade my underwear to this.

Its super comfy and it fits me perfect but its because i know my size. The sizing chart said i needed a 36B but i know im well over a DDD so i got a 36DD and it fit great. So aside from the wonky sizing its very comfy. Not bad for 40 bucks.
